Dive into the vibrant world of West African music in this dynamic drumming class for children ages 6–12!  This class offers an exciting opportunity for kids to explore the rich traditions of African drumming while building essential skills and confidence. In this class, students will:
Sing uplifting songs inspired by West African culture.
Practice pattern-making to enhance rhythm and musical understanding.
Develop coordination and learn traditional techniques on stick drums and djembe.
Work together as a team to create beautiful, energetic rhythms.
Select students will have the chance to perform at special events in the Frederick community, showcasing their talent and the joy of drumming.
