African Drumming

African Drumming is a great way for all to have fun learning not only about West African Culture, but how to listen, play, build musicianship and community, and have fun. This class will focus on technique, culture of the drums from West Africa to the Americas, and working on 1 - 2 pieces per session. You can use these skills in many aspects of your life and also drum circles, jam sessions, or as an exercise to get the blood flowing and the heart happy. No experience is required. Drums are available for class and also for purchase in our store.
