Policy

Lesson Scheduling: a. Lessons will be scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, as agreed upon between the teacher and the student/parent. b. Lessons will generally occur at the same day and time each week, unless otherwise arranged. c. Please arrive on time for your scheduled lesson to make the most of your lesson time. If you are running late, please notify the teacher in advance.

Payment: a. Lesson fees are due in advance for each month or as specified by the studio. b. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, or online payment methods. c. Missed lessons without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled, except in cases of emergencies or teacher cancellation. d. Make-up lessons will be provided at the teacher's discretion for missed lessons due to illness or emergencies, provided notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.

Practice: a. Regular and consistent practice is essential for progress. Students are expected to practice the assigned material between lessons. b. Parents are encouraged to support and monitor their child's practice sessions, especially for younger students. c. The teacher will provide guidance on the recommended duration and content of practice sessions.

Communication: a. Open and respectful communication between parents, students, and teachers is vital. Feel free to discuss any concerns, questions, or suggestions with the teacher. b. Parents will be informed of their child's progress during periodic progress evaluations or through regular communication channels established with the teacher. c. Teachers will respond to emails, calls, or messages within a reasonable time frame.

Attendance and Cancellations: a. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for lesson cancellations, except in cases of emergencies. b. In the event of teacher absence or cancellation, a make-up lesson or an appropriate refund will be provided.

Studio Etiquette: a. Students are expected to arrive for lessons with their instrument, sheet music, and any assigned materials or books. b. Students should maintain a respectful and focused attitude during lessons, refraining from distractions or disruptive behavior. c. Parents are welcome to observe lessons but are requested to minimize distractions and refrain from interfering unless necessary.
